Duties: Develop and prepare lessons; instruct, assess and grade student achievement in the discipline of criminology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both Qualitative Research Methods in Criminology (CRIM 350) and Quantitative Methods in Criminology (CRIM 351), as well as a wide range of lower and upper level criminology courses.   Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.

Required Qualifications: A doctoral degree (or ABD) in Criminology or related discipline, from an appropriately accredited institution; recent experience and expertise teaching undergraduates; record of engagement in scholarly activities; and/or relevant professional memberships.
Preferred Qualifications: A completed doctoral degree in Criminology or related discipline, and demonstrated proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Preference will be given to candidates whose research complements and extends the department's current strengths.
