Duties: Support Information Technology (IT) Governance Committee(s): arrange meetings, prepare and distribute agendas, take and distribute meeting minutes. Support the IT Project Management Office (PMO), enter and extract data from a project portfolio database, prepare reports, solicit activity updates from project managers; organize and/or assist the organization of special events and workshops; update webpage content; file paper and electronic documents; photocopy, scan and archive documents; book travel and organize conference attendance for staff.
 
Required Qualifications: One-year Applied Business Technology Certificate, or equivalent, from and appropriately accredited institution. Two years recent, relevant experience. MS Office proficiency and 50 wpm typing speed. Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated organizational skills; demonstrated tact and diplomacy; excellent communication skills; demonstrated initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and provide suggestions.
 
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an IT environment, understanding of project management theory and practice. Experience in a post-secondary environment.
