Duties: Instruct PSYC 112 Contemporary Psychology II. Prepare course materials, provide student support; conduct student evaluation, grading and record keeping; liaise with department chair; participate as an active member of the instructional team.

PSYC 112 Contemporary Psychology II
A survey of the current status of selected areas, emphasizing the scientific approach to the study of behaviour of humans and animals. Topics include development, language and thought, personality assessment, intelligence, personality theory, adjustment, abnormal behaviour, therapies, and social behaviour.
 
  Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
 
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology from an appropriately accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise and excellence in teaching psychology at the post-secondary level. Demonstrated competency in technology related to the position.
