Guided tours are available to groups of 10 or more with prior arrangments. To arrange a guide, please contact the main office at


Tea Servicetearoom

Daily during our open season:

Shoulder season 1:00-4:00

Summer season 12:00-4:00

Afternoon Tea is served with assorted baked goods and freshly baked scones, served with jam (made with fruit from the garden) and Devonshire cream. The Camellia Tea Room is located in the drawing room of the historic Milner House. No reservations are required, except for high tea or large groups.

Please note: Garden Admission is required to access the Camellia Tea Room.

Murder Mystery Teas

By request

Come and enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and intrigue, with your group of friends by participating in one of our Murder Mystery Teas. All it takes is a group of eight people who are willing to take on an easy role as one of the characters and as many others who would like to attend. A luncheon of fancy sandwiches, scones with Devon Cream and other goodies, is served on three tiered platters along with tea in bone china cups. Of course, there will be a prize offered for some lucky person.

Members’ Monthly Luncheon

Once every month our Tea Room puts on a special themed luncheon for our members, volunteers, and their guests. As these book up quickly, be sure to reserve early. More information on becoming a member.

Artists in the Garden

August 12th & 13th

In place of our annual Art & Photography event, this year we will be hosting Artists in the Garden throughout the weekend of August 12 & 13.

With displays by members of the Mid Island Floral Art Club to inspire everyone, we invite all artists and photographers at all levels to come and enjoy capturing the beauty at Milner Gardens & Woodland.

Past Art & Photography participants please contact if you are interested in this year’s event.

All other painters, sketchers, and photographers are welcome to come and practice their art. Bring your tripod or easel and get ½ off your admission throughout the event.


Fall Plant Sale

September 23rd & 24th

10:00am to 4:00pm

Add a piece of this Heritage Garden to your own

garden.  A large selection of propagated

material will be offered for sale.

Members only early access Sept 22nd from 5:00 to 6:30pm.
