Chris is responsible for managing the processes that ensure researcher and institutional compliance with national standards for ethical research involving humans and animals. Chris can provide general information and advice to researchers, faculty and students concerning applications to VIU’s Research Ethics Board (REB) and Animal Care Committee (ACC).

Lyn is responsible for coordination of meetings and preparation of minutes for Research Office committees, including Research Ethics Board, Animal Care Committee, VIU Research Awards Committee, VIUFA Leave Committee, Asper Media Studies Endowment Award, and Graduate Studies Advisory Committee. Lyn is the first level of reception for the Research &
