There are many exciting opportunities for you to take part in the conference. All students (any student, any program, any year!) are encouraged to be active participants.

Poster Displays:

Posters will be displayed in building 300 (the main cafeteria) on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

You are required to sign up for a 1.5 or 2 hour time slot to present your poster to the general public. Come prepared to answer questions and engage with judges for your chance to win awards. In addition, your poster may be published on the CREATE E-Posters web page. Here are some tips on creating a poster.

Poster printing is offered free for participants through the Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity Office. The typical size of a poster is 3ft x 4ft (36 inches tall by 48 inches wide).

Presentation:

Presentations

The approximate length including questions will be 15 minutes.

The presentation must be the result of a major project suitable to one's discipline (the creation, dissemination, or exchange of knowledge or creative activity within one’s discipline). Scholarship Slam:

The Scholarship Slam is a fun and cool event for you to present the most important aspects of your project in under three minutes.

Presentations

Faculty and students with the most votes (judged se per at ley) will win awards! Use your best ‘elevator pitch’ to speedily describe your research in non-technical terms; have fun and try your best to engage the audience.

In order to keep it fun, you are allowed to bring one prop and a costume of your choice! One Power Point slide is also allowed but is restricted to photos and a maximum 25 words (no videos please).

There are a limited number of spots so sign up fast!
